So I headed home this weekend to visit my parents and grandparents. That always makes the eating vegan (and now gluten-free) more of a challenge. However, we managed to find a restaurant that served good food that was easily made vegan. We went to Seasons 52. They serve food prepared from fresh ingredients that are in season. And each meal has less than 475 calories. Yay proper portions!
I felt pretty good today. I did, however, experience some of what I assume were residual effects of eating gluten yesterday. I my face and upper body were warm again this morning and early afternoon. I am assuming this was because I was still removing the gluten from my system. However, if it persists I will have to look elsewhere for possible culprits.
